you would think that but who knowsOn the plus side, you've Southampton Sat'day who are woefully bad and headed one way under Pellegrino.
SURELY he won't park the bus against them at home?
Lol is he really going to use spending as an excuse. Both managers had the same amount of time, and they took over teams that finished the season equal on points, separated only by a goal difference. After 2 years they've spent roughly the same, and now you're unable to compete. It's almost like the other guy is buying better. Lindeloff and Miki have both been duds , Pogba is good but he's not nearly 100 million good, and you're spending outrageous amount of wages on a 36-year old hasbeen, while most of Pep's signings are in their early 20s and can potentially dominate for a decade.

a lot of negative energy......on and off the pitch
That's 2 fullbacks for the price of strikers.
You think we'd out spent him by 200mil+ and not 40m difference reading that. lol. We are a team in transition from the old guard to young surprised we didnt spend more.. lol.
A mate of mine was at the match yesterday and said people were booing like mad when Miki and especially Lingard names where called out coming on. Idiots!Presume this was posted H/T?
Complete, embarrassing joke getting booed off after 1 loss the last 42 at home sitting second the league. But that's a symptom of the 'ideal' home crowd Utd (and L'pool come to that) have built for themselves. Day-trippers from all over (not just England, but the World) who'll come and spend shed loads on merchandise and club tours and who really don't have a clue on what Utd means nor how to behave/ get behind the team the game.
And sadly there's no way that's EVER changing now and going back to what it was. It just is what it is, what clubs want, 'customers' not fans, as money is the be all and end all in today's game.
