The Manchester United Thread

If Mourinho is making comments like that then he's clearly pretty confident that he's got his man

Where would Sanchez play, ideally? (if the move does happen) I wouldn't want Martial dropped because he's been fantastic, and needs the game time. Probably on the right, dropping Mata?

First of all please stick to a 433 no matter what happens. Need to get the best out of Pogba like recent matches. Ideally for the rest of the season SHOULD he sign-

DDG-Bailly-Jones-Shaw
Matic
?- Pogba
Sanchez-Lukaku-Martial

Could play any of Herrera, Fellaini, Lingard, Mctominey along side Pogba. Till next season. His partner will be the key signing for us in the Summer!

Don't think I've ever seen Sanchez as an outside right, what's he like there?

I'm sure back in the day when I used to see him at Udinese he was wide right and was class, more of a tricks player then, before he rounded his game out since he moved on. Think he is right footed too

Yeah I know he's right footed, but have only ever seen him come off the left in terms of wing. If you put Robben as an outside left you're limiting him, wondering if its the same case with Sanchez or if he excels there

You did see I wrote a bit more than just "he's right footed" right? XD

He was good out wide for Udinese if I remember correctly.

Did you know he is predominantly right footed too?

Haha I know, thanks for telling me you've seen him play there before. Still think it's a bit of a headache, feels more of a want than a need, but I suppose when a player of his level is practically handed to you, it's hard to say no

It's what, 5 or 6 years since Udinese and I only really remember him cause I was quite envious of him not being at Milan haha.

He was quick, played well along the line and was quite a tricky winger. Not sure at what point he became more of an inside forward, I remember him scoring a good amount of goals before the Barcelona move though.

This move is a bit like the Mata one, can you turn down such a good player on the cheap? Specially with the cost of transfers now

Basically, very good anywhere then haha.

Where did you find those stats mate? How many were at Udinese if you can see? Would like to check I've not imagined it or confused him with someone else ha

Was from Transfer market website. Defo played most his games on the right for Udinese and Barca. And is predominantly right footed.

Edit: If what Riola says is true about a straight swap deal then Woody deserves a statue next to Fergie.

I'd almost put money on Mkhi being very very good again if he were to go to Arsenal.

But it's Arsenal so I won't be making any bets at all ;)

If not, they'll accept cash. Don't think for a second this deal is entirely dependent on Mkhi. We're realistically the only suitors who will fork up in January not called Manchester City.

True, not too fussed either way, just rather it did not drag on endlessly.

Would be great to go into this part of season and especially CL with the addition of Sanchez.

Sincerely hope you get him bro', but wouldn't he be ineligible the CL?

I thought they only amended that to preclude qualifiers. Not group games?

I don't know the rules exactly but people say he can.

Scouse, why are you always seemingly happy when United may sign a top player?
