Not that it really matters now like, but FWIW, Everton valued Rooney at £10 million. Which is how they sold it to their fans that they stood firm and held out for the £100 million they had been demanding all summer long.

I thought it was £75m + add-ons. Which as it stands would still be £75m as we haven't won anything with him yet.
 
Its 75 plus non guaranteed addons. So it's currently 75 million.

Which has led to an absolutely insurmountable lead of 3 points in the table with 0 titles in the past 4 (now going onto 5) seasons. And we even handed Matic on a silver platter.

For some strange reason, everyone feels the need to take pot shots at Chelsea whenver the discussion is on another topic. Its like if I started criticizing Man City in the other thread when wkdsoul was taking the **** at us being interested in Ashley Barnes.

Never understood it. Never will. Seems like a convenient way to divert the discussion when its going badly for you.
