If the consensus by the match goers that you were speaking/listening to was that Lukaku needed to do more or whatever, they're talking absolute *****, and they're a bad representation of the match goers. If United put away their chances yesterday, he was clear MOTM. That's literally how fine the line is. Terrific CF play throughout and should've had an assist to his name (Sanchez bottled open net). Saw a lad post "if only lukaku could set up lukaku", which pretty much sums up his performances of late.

Not so much as seen the Newcastle goal so I can't personally comment on anything Utd yesterday. ('Cept Valencia should be looking at a 3 game ban from the giff put up over the page.). Just those three copped the most ire on the radio in with the general lack of graft/ entertainment.

Why Alli he’s been poor most the season! Pogba isn’t a defensive disciplined CM like Dembele or a DM like Dier. Our attacking players aren’t the problem CM is.

Nothing wrong with saying he’s having a fairly poor season by his standards. Nothing wrong with criticism of a player. Doesn’t make him a bad player!

Great impact from 15 year old Anthony Elanga who came on after 61 minutes and scored twice to help United u16s to a 3-2 win against Rangers under 20s. Elanga is a lightning quick player who can play anywhere across the front line and has been adding a lot of goals to his game recently

Whispers of what, him coming to United? Find it hard to believe.

I love Alderweireld but I always wonder why it did not work for him at Atletico? I'm not questioning him I'm just genuinely curious. Maybe he didn't play much as there were some great CB's there like Godin and Miranda etc.

What do you expect from Spurs, winning the PL? If you do I guess that is a sign of how good this team can be.

I just look at how Poch has developed a lot of those players and moulded this team into the style he wants, it is really impressive.

Still think that if they get CL it's a successful season because they are competing with bigger clubs both in terms of money and stature,

Not sure what happened at Atletico, didn't know much of him back in those days, but I think Salah & De Bruyne are living proof that things not working out at a former club doesn't define you - so I'm really not that curious.

As for Poch, I agree with you; he's a special coach. If & when Zidane leaves Madrid, he's going to be on the shortlist if not top. Mad how he still splits opinion, what more does he have to prove? Obviously winning a trophy, but he has Tottenham Hotspur as a title challenger (bar this season) and has them a side that everyone would want to avoid in Europe, all of this with a skinnier squad, less resources, and playing champagne football.
