The Manchester United Thread

It's so sad we only have 1 ******* player who can play on the Right Wing (Mata).. Martial, Rashford and Lingard all become disabled kids when they play there for some reason. :'(

And I really hope that Shaw gets to play more now and that Rojo or Lindelöf gets a good run next to Bailly.. maybe we can start building up from the back instead of Young and Smalling hoofing it every **** time.. :(

Mou: "I've sat in this chair twice before, with Porto - Man Utd out, with Real Madrid - Man Utd out, so this is nothing new for this football club." #MUFC

what the ****?!

Was basically saying that Utd have been knocked out before it happens. Can happen against weaker teams ala Porto.

Looking back today our our record in Europe is quite frankly terrible tbh.

Still can't believe how negatively we approached that first game against Sevilla, in the modern game you have to try and take the initiative away from home. Away goals are so valuable now that you really need at least one to keep the pressure off when the reverse leg comes and your playing at home.

Still totally baffled how we failed to beat this Sevilla team, give them credit obviously, but this was a team that just got trounced at home 5-0 by Atletico.

this season has been a failure when you consider the investment that was put in, needed to at least win something of note. I guess you could still say the FA Cup and a top 4 finish isn't disastrous. But it is really hard to see how we progress with Mourinho from this season onwards to next.

I can't see us winning the PL with Mourinho while Pep is at City that's for sure. We need someone who is more ambitious, especially in the bigger games.

Not happy how we approached things either. But let’s not pretend Sevilla are some bang average side. There a top Cup side winning 3 Europa league titles recently and regularly tend to beat the top teams in Spain in there cups. Still should of gone for it more at away and defo at home.

Font think this season has been a failure for me. We’ve improved massively in the league only dwarfed by City having a crazy season. Got to we’re I expected we would do in the CL but still slightly dissapointed at the way we went out. Still think we will win the FA Cup. There’s defo been progression on last season in results but not so much in style. Even though we have played some good football up until Christmas.

If if there’s one person who can overturn City it is Jose for me always finds away to take trophies of him. And our record in big games has been good this season a massive improvement on last.

Just hope Mourinho finally gets rid of the ***** that is still at the club in the Summer.

Mixed season. League wise we've put ourselves back at the near top.

On the other hand Europe was a failure. It says a lot that Jose makes excuses while.the likes of Lukaku and Bailly say round 16 is unacceptable. Those the the players we need

The question we need to ask is if Jose was in charge of City with that squad, would they be playing the football they are (and obviously can do with a manager that lets them play) and run away with the league, or would they be scrapping for first place with us/Liverpool?

We have the squad to be playing far better football. We have individuals that can go out and win games on their own if they are given license to play and to their strengths. But its like Jose wants to stifle us and turn us into some rigid hard to break down side that nicks goals on the counter. Were Man Utd with world class players. Not Stoke. The way we have set up in a lot of games this season, we may as well have Tony Pulis on the touchline on a 10th of Jose's wage.
