Thought Martial was good when Shaw was on been terrible since Young has come on. And didn’t even realise Lingard was playing. Can understand Mata frustration at being subbed he’s played well.

Yep he was good as was Bailly. McTominay solid. Matic my motm. Really need new FBs in the Summer. And if Lindelöf isn’t deemed ready then a starter to partner Bailly who is experienced to go straight in. 2 CMs, CB and a LB minimum in the Summer.

Mourinho, "No, I didn't like the game, I think we deserved to win but the game was in control for the majority of the time. We didn't play the way I wanted to play. I didn't get the reaction from all of the players, just some of them."

That really contradicts the stuff you've posted in the last couple of days about Mourinho wanting to take the blame himself and protect the players

Did he upheld any of his promises in his first press conference as man utd manager? My god, he is a total hypocrite. He talks about knowing the ambitions united fans have and agrees with them, however just 2 days ago, he was attempting to lower the ambitions of united fans? Remember when Van Gaal said this exact same thing, attempting to lower our ambitions, I bet you jose fanboys were mad at LVG then, however where are you now? Are you not gonna address it? How can any of you lot still be jose in, he hasn't met any of his promises that he gave when he first came, has been given a 300m treasury and the only thing he has to show for it is worthless trophies that no one will care about the next day after winning it. As bad as Jose and United have seemingly been, we've still been consistent and that's why we're still second in the league. Any season when City win the league is a bad one, but it's far from disastrous. Although going out the CL at last 16 was very poor and unacceptable how we went about it.

Just had my mate round who was at the game and he was saying the singing section on trial was absolutely bouncing and a huge success never stopped for the whole match. And the atmosphere as a whole was loads better.
We've finally got that stability we lost since Ferguson went. Agree, the next one has to be proper improvement
When you really think about it, Klopp is a Manchester United manager. Attacking, trusts youth, no fear. Maybe hasn't got the pragmatism that Fergie had in big games, but shares a lot of similar traits.
Pity he's been to Anfield, could never be here now.

Football tribalism's mad when you boil it down. I know Utd lads that hate Schmeichel because he went City. Mark Hughes the same. Presume that's why zz's so quick to jump on him all the time on here. Two bona fide Utd legends. Ince was never fully accepted at r's until maybe right the backend after he scored that late equaliser against Utd and went mad celebrating it.
Phil Chisnall back in 1964. The last man to transfer directly between Utd and L'pool. 54 years ago. For two clubs that have, the Ferguson era aside, always been real close and got on real well, that's mind-blowing. Heintze desperately wanted to come to L'pool but Ferguson was adamant he was going anywhere but. Sold him to Madrid where he hated it. When Mourinho came cap-in-hand with his agent after Porto wanting the L'pool job following Houllier, we only turned to Rafa because of his actions running down the touchline Utd with Porto celebrating then narking at Ferguson after. The board feeling he was too inflammatory to appoint. Would he do that again at Utd as L'pool manager?
Crazy when you think about it how nothing more than tribalism stops simple business transactions. Even if it's to either club's detriment.
