The Manchester United Thread

Still dont get the dislike Poch gets and how he is more unproven. Allegri has done more true(been longer in the game and Juventus) and IF Sarri wins the league then big achievement, but there is nothing else these managers should be considered more proven and better. It will be cluster fuuu with English media and Sarri...
Was thinking that with Sarri lol. Be funny to see him smoking in the press conferences and stood by the side of the pitch :)))) like I said I like Poch and think he will be a good manager but I’m not yet convinced. His big game record is shocking and Spurs always seems to fold when it matters.

I really don't see why you keep bringing this up... it's ****** boring as **** and you want to have a dig at every opportunity you can which is obvious.

Listen carefully, at the time KDB/Lukaku/Salah were not good enough to regularly get in that Chelsea team, they were not happy with the lack of game time and so they were sold. Does that mean Mourinho takes no blame? Not at all.

But if at the time your team was too strong for them to get into regularly and they want more game time.... what is the alternative other than moving them on to another club? They were clearly in the case of KDB kicking up a fuss behind closed doors because of it.

Plus at the time Salah was at Chelsea I watched him and he was absolutely pants compared to what he is now. I don't know what they done in Italy with him but it clearly had a massive effect.

The embarrassing part of his rambling is that i clearly remember ALC slating Lukaku at the time, so forgive me for not listening to a word he says

Salah was absolutely ***** at Chelsea

Well the mess Chelsea are in it’s no wonder there looking for better things to talk about :P

Are you really surprised Chelsea fanbase is more than a little salty about former manager who kept giving up on promising footballers after 2-3 games, only for them to end up key players of United, Liverpool and City, 3 opposing teams in the same league.

And its true that each of those transfers was followed by character assassinations through leaks planted in the media.

My issue isn't the salt, but the outright hypocrisy

I think he's being very harsh on Shaw. Now he might well be absolutely bang on with his criticism, but it's not going to make him play any better, or make him a better sellable asset

Ashley Young on #MUFC team-mate Shaw to @5liveSport's @bbcjohnmurray. "Obviously he's a player that wants to do well, I want to see him doing well. It's like all players, you just have to get your head down & work. He's a fantastic player. He can be one of the best in the world"

I think you're being quite unfair and missing a bit the context. Back then Mourinho just returned to Chelsea. Their best manager ever, arriving on a white horse to bring glory. It's no wonder the fanbase believed every word of his personal attacks on departing players. It's only after he started to have public meltdowns and nearly got them relegated when eyes where opened.

It's not hypocrisy, sometimes you can just change your mind.

I think the whole drama is just silly. Shaw very well might have bad attitude. But it's worth noting all the managers who had complained about him. LVG, Hodgson, Mourinho, three people who's combined age nears 200 years, are having problem interacting with a teenagers? Well there's a shocker.

Your forgetting Poch as well and Saints coaches who are all around similar age to Poch. Also hard to say that about LVG. Yes he’s a bit on the old side but his record with youngsters suggests he’s good with managing them.

Not being unfair at all. Fans are so precious. Perhaps a lesson to fans to be less one eyed.

Pogba and Martial not trained with France yet as both injured one with a hip and one with a toe injury likely to miss the first friendly.

Congratulations to #MUFC Under-18s star Largie Ramazani, who has signed a first professional deal with the club.

And so the public slaying of Luke Shaw begins. KdB was apparently high maintenance as well. Lukaku had no drive or desire. Salah did not listen. Its never Jose’s fault of course.
Never is according to jose fanboys. They'd rather see the club sell pogba, martial and our best players than sack the manager. You know some of you lot bang on about no player being bigger than the club, but no manager should be as well. However, jose fanboys act like he is then go on to mention SAF's failures.

I literally burst out laughing at this.
