Manchester United publish their third-quarter fiscal results.
NEW: What Ruben Amorim likes from his striker:![]()
- Someone who is tall and able to play with his back to the goal.
-A centre-forward who can get hold of goal kicks and work as a hook from which Amorim’s other attackers can get close is welcome.
- Strikers with explosive pace, suitable for running in behind defences or running the channels.
- Solid, repeatable ball-striking methods. Players who can turn a half-chance into a goal because they can finish past the goalkeeper at the near post.
- Amorim likes a forward who is happy to shoulder the goalscoring burden and shoot in high volume.

Man Utd Premier League fixture list for 2025 26 season announced
Our 2025/26 schedule has been officially revealed! Devour the details here, including who we've got first...www.manutd.com
You maybe surprised especially if the club make some sensible signings for up front (ie wide forwards who fit the system, who can score goals and aren't in it for themselves). They will still let in goals with the erratic GK so probably don't expect to be challenging for the top spot. No disrespect to Amorin but I think even he knows Onana is not the answer to the keeper spot, hence all the Martinez rumours. I don't think Martinez is the answer either, yes he is a good solid keeper but he can be just as as much of a liability to the team (as that stupid challenge in the final game last season proved).so we will be in 20th after 8 games nice
