The Manchester United Thread

The problem isn't the manager but rather the idiots above him. We all know what Ratcliffe has done to Nice already, they did better when he was force to step back. Him and the Glazers need to go before the club finds itself in the situation Wolves and Blackpool found themselve in a few years back. Then again maybe it would be best for the club to go down a division or two (not that fans want it to happen) if it means the leeches go off into the sunset. Both Manchester clubs are at crossroads for different reasons. However, Alty are 6th in the National League and slaughtered FC United of Manchester 6-2 in the FA Cup so at least I can't complain. The Robins ain't bobbins!!!

I’m not saying everything is Carricks fault. But he’s not helping himself. And I don’t understand why he’s gone completely away from what was his biggest strength last season and his run of results.

Last season he was managing with the knowledge that it didn't really matter now he played now it seems as if he has forgotten what got him the job. That said Casemiro hasn't been replaced the defence is lets face it **** and other than Sesko there is no one who can play up front consistently.

That’s what I don’t get. He did well playing square pegs in square holes. This season from the off he’s played so many different players out of position and made the change to the line up so many times. He’s not helping himself in the slightest!

And on this. Wilcox should **** off!!!!

Exc: Growing tensions upstairs as United between Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell.

Nagelsmann v Prem Proven boss a source of contention, I’m told.

Nah. In a relegation fight, there’s only one man for the job …..

There is a difference in being an interim and being bossed around as a permanent manager clearly. It was the same with Ole and to a lesser extent every single other manager since Ferguson. It is very rare for any interim boss to have the same success when given the job on a permanent basis. Maybe the answer is to just stick to interims and not give a manager a long term contract... The women's team aren't having the same kind of issues but then Ratcliffe etc don't care about them as they aren't as profitable (mind you at the current rate it may change).

Your most probably right to an extent mate. But o don’t believe Wilcox is telling Carrick to play Bruno at RW. Mount as a sitting DM. Yoro and Heaven as FBs. List can go on this season how many decisions Carrick has made in regards to players playing out of position. Like 4/5 each match
