Highly rated Mason Greenwood has burst on to the scene this season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer heaping much praise on the youngster but how far can he go?

Well in Football Manager we can find out...

_______________

Career Goals:

- Have Greenwood break Wayne Rooney's goalscoring record for Manchester United (253 all comps)
- Have Greenwood break Bobby Charlton's league goalscoring record for Manchester United (199)
- Attempt to break Ryan Giggs' appearance records (672 league, 963 all comps)
- Have Greenwood become the most decorated player in Utd history

No career rules as such except I will operate a one-out-one-in transfer policy so we do not stockpile the world's best talents. Therefore the famous Utd academy will have the chance to flourish as Greenwood hunts down the records.

Pereira departs for France. We tried to get Jadon Sancho but couldn't get a deal over the line. We will be back for him in January.

Greenwood scores again to start a late comeback against Brighton and in doing so draws praise from Wayne Rooney himself.... the man whose records he is after.

Mason grabs another couple of goals and so I decide to rest him for the league cup game against Southampton, a game in which Rashford stakes his claim to be the number one striker with SIX goals...

Mason returns to the starting line up with an early goal against Wolves.

His form doesn't goal unnoticed outside of England either as he is among the contender for the European Golden Boy award.

A future Ballon D'Or winner perhaps??

As the January window opens we return to Dortmund for Jadon Sancho. How many assists can he provide to Greenwood over the next 10 years or so?

I put Greenwood on penalties to maximise his goal scoring opportunities and he responds well to the extra responsibility..
