The Mercenary Challenge: Becoming the richest manager in world football. A re-do.

So the European International League Division B group has been drawn. We are going to face Denmark, Serbia and Turkey in our group. There were also a few injuries we had to deal with.

I applied for a number of jobs as it is the end of the season and I received a few interviews with some of the clubs. I also got offered a few jobs. But I turned them down because of the wages on offer. Also this is the Montenegro squad for the game against Cameroon.

So I again have been offered a few jobs but I declined them because of the wages on offer. We played a friendly against Cameroon and lost.

I got a couple of job interviews. I even got offered a job by one of the clubs but declined it because of the wages on offer. Since it is the summer transfer window and July has started. Let us have a look at the managerial rich list. So there are changes, Diego Simeone has been sacked by Manchester City. Top of the list is Antonio Conte at Inter earning 350k pounds per week. Second on the list is Jurgen Klopp at Real Madrid earning 175k pounds per week. And third on the list is a new entry, Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool earning 160k pounds per week. Under Conte, Inter won Serie A last season, got knocked out in the Italian Cup quarter final against Milan, lost the Super Cup final against Napoli, got knocked out in the Champions League first knockout round against Atletico Madrid. Under Klopp, last season Real Madrid came 3rd in La Liga, got knocked out in the Champions League first knockout round against Borussia Dortmund and won the Spanish Cup against Real Sociedad in the final. Under Rodgers last season, Liverpool won the Premier League, they also won the Carabao Cup, they got knocked out in the Champions League quarter final against Manchester United and they lost to Everton in the FA Cup semi final.

I got offered another job but declined it because of the wages on offer. But Sweden have won Euro 2028. They won the World Cup in my save before, and now they have gone on and won the Euros. They are becoming a powerhouse in international football.

Also in other news Uruguay won the 2028 Copa America. Had to highlight this as many international jobs became available.

So I have left my role as the Montenegro manager. I managed only 3 games in the span of a little over 6 months. I had a 33% win rate as Montenegro manager. And I got the Colombia national team job. I also have a pay rise from 4.7k pounds per week to 5.5k pounds per week. The Nigeria squad may be the strongest team I have managed so far, but Colombia's squad is more balanced.

I was offered quite a few job interviews, but did not receive any job offers. Three players have decided to represent Colombia. Juan Esteban Higuita, Oscar Bernal and Mateo Gomez and I am thrilled to see that happen.

This is the Colombia squad for the World Cup qualifying games against Chile and Argentina. Let's hope that they go well.

So these were the results against Chile and Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers. They were two relatively tough teams and I am still searching for my first win as Colombia manager.

Javier Baez has chosen to represent Colombia. Also this is the Colombia squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Uruguay.

This is how we played against Paraguay and Uruguay. We scored quite a decent number of goals but conceded quite a decent number of goals too.

These are the results in the World Cup Qualifiers against Bolivia and Ecuador. Alfredo Morelos is getting on in terms of age but he has found some goalscoring form. We have made a very mixed start as Colombia manager.

Victor Hugo Murillo has chosen to represent Colombia and I am thrilled that he is doing it. Also Gwangju offered me a job interview and also the job but I declined it because of the wages on offer.

So we got a few job offers. I was pretty close to leaving the Colombia national team, but KV Kortrijk offered me slightly less money than what I was being paid as Colombia manager so I declined the offer. I also declined two other offers. And there were a couple of injuries.
