We have qualified for the FA Cup proper and are going to face Dagenham and Redbridge. Harrison Myring got injured for 3-5 weeks. And here are some results in the league and the FA Cup.
After a cup replay against Dagenham and Redbridge we are through to the next round of the FA Cup and we will face Swindon in the next round. In the league, we are tailing off at the moment after a strong start initially and we have to improve in the league.
So here is the big announcement. I am officially leaving Wealdstone. And I am joining Gateshead in the Vanarama National League North, a division below my current division. Shock move? Not if you're a mercenary. My wages have increased from 850 pounds per week to 975 pounds per week. Money talks. The journey to being the richest football manager in the world has taken a new step albeit unconventionally. I leave Wealdstone in 13th place in the Vanarama National League.
Josh Tibbetts has joined Gateshead from Wealdstone for 1.1k pounds. It is great to work with you again, Josh. Hopefully we shall achieve great things together.
We signed former Wealdstone player, Harrison Myring. I am so happy about this. He even scored on his debut for Gateshead. We also got a player on loan from Carlisle called Charlie Barnes.
A few more injuries to key players has meant that we lost two games in a row. Hopefully we can rally the players after a blip that came after a steady start at Gateshead.
More injuries. Some players have recovered. Also here are some of the results. We have made a steady start to life at Gateshead. It will be difficult to qualify for the playoffs as we need to win almost every game. But everything I am doing as a manager is to build a platform for the team for next season, whether I will be at Gateshead or not.
We signed a player called Michael Adu from Oxford City on a free transfer. That is the one major highlight. We have been stuttering in the league, picking up points here and there but not nearly consistent enough to make it to the playoffs.
We had a few mixed results. Yeah that's how I would speak in press conferences to the reporters, but really after an indifferent run of form our form has been mixed. We also signed a player who will come in next summer called Fearghal McGarrity on a free from Dungannon.
Our indifferent form has clearly not impressed the board. There was the dreaded board meeting, I came out of it relatively unscathed. Let's hope I don't get sacked by Gateshead.
I have to do damage control and maybe find a way out of Gateshead in case another board meeting happens. So I had a look at the job centre and applied for all the jobs that were available. The money needs to keep rolling in somehow. Also I need to find a solution at Gateshead.
