[h=1]Wolves sack manager Stale Solbakken after FA Cup exit[/h]Comments (257)

Wolverhampton Wanderers have sacked manager Stale Solbakken after just two months in charge
The Norwegian was dismissed by the Molineux board just eight weeks before the start of the season.
Solbakken, 44, was appointed in May but didn't start work until two weeks ago but reported bust-ups with the board, staff and players have resulted in an early termination of his contract.
A Wolves statement added: "The club would like wish Stale success in the future."

"The decision was made before the game at Luton. It was not a case of him losing the dressing room because I'm told he never found the dressing room. It was supposed to be a long term plan but the players never really got what he was about."

Solbakken's appointment was announced in May and he started the role on 1 July, following Terry Connor's short reign as successor to Mick McCarthy.
