The Most USELESS Players

jack wilshere for m on my nottm forest save, on massive wages (my own stupid fault) poor performaces consistently, give him his dues he is consistently ****! and cannot fob him off and to top it off always moaning about lack of football
Every save that I have him in, he gets booked all of the time and the injuries are horrible! In a pre Christmas save, I miraculously got him injury free through to mid 2017! He also had good average ratings. He has a high injury proneness stat and dives into tackles. It's hard to train him out of diving in. He's a real catch 22. He had bad ratings because he isn't fit and he's always injured because he dives into tackles with a high injury proneness stat.

I would say all injury prone players period. Its only a matter of time before the injuries come. It doesn't even have to be serious injures. Couple of days here and there, couple of weeks. You can't get any consistency because they return lacking match fitness, you have to introduce them slowly meaning couple minutes here and there = bad ratings = not developing ideally. Its just a frustration. Only player I have a a little luck with is Jesus Vallejo, probably because of his professional personalty.

Daniel sturidgge for me. Has to get injured for 3 months every season then comes back after all that with depleted physical stats that make his useless.

One more shout for G Barbosa. He's barely played last season due to being ****, and for some reason his market value rose from 22.5 to 34 mil. Has anyone had success with him, and how?

False Nine in a Barca-like, yet more direct system.

Charlie Austin. Signed him 1st season for Newcastle for £11M. Was amazing and second top scorer in EPLl. Scored all types of goals in his first season and qualified for Champions League. Had high hopes for him second season and built my team around him but ended being absolute useless. Couldnt dribble, couldnt finish and lost almost every header possible. Proper definition of a one season wonder.

The "wonderkid" Richairo Zivkovic. Started a Willem II save (With the LFC Transfer Update) so I have him in my squad as a loan from Ajax, started him and pretty much built the team around him. He just doesn't score at all, he has maybe 1 goal in 12 matches! Or when he does, he's offside and it's ridiculously stressful plus I have no better striker for his position (Minding stats, etc..)

Signed him with my Wolves team for 11M. Played him as a CF, in 2 seasons he spent with us he scored ~70 goals in all competition and eventually I've sold him to City for 90M in cash.

One of the biggest bargains in the game.

In what position do you play him? What's your current tactic?

4-2-3-1 Wide , He's being played at striker and has plenty of people to support him(Mind you this is season one, unsure if that oculd be somewhat of a reason), Advanced Forward if not mistaken (Can't check at the current moment)

I've played him as CF as most of his stats are 15+ for that particular role. Plus, it's important to instruct your team to play 'Whipped Crosses' 'cos with his rapid speed Zivkovic's could outrun basically every defender (apart from Balanta but currently he plays in my team :P) and reach these crosses easily.

I could post screenshots once I'm home later today.

Have you guys ever acquired Icardi btw? Is he any good or did I make a relatively blind 30 million purchase?

I'll give him a go at CF, as an AF he was useless for me, but we'll see.

Thanks for the tip.

Ganso. Never actually got him on FM15, but on FM12 I got him for 50M€ to Man City. Boy, I think I still owe the sheik that money back. Occasionally showed why Santos wanted that amount with a brilliant play or 2, or a beautiful goal, but he was consistently rubbish. When I fancied a challenge, I would put him in the field thinking "okay, now I'm playing with 10 men, let's see if we can win this one". And of course, since we was so highly rated, forget about offloading him without paying like 90% of his wages. Seeing he isn't talked about anymore, I see that the real Ganso wasn't far off "my" Ganso. This experience taught me to never trust another "hottest brazilian talent".

Riki. Needed a new striker for my Hull side in FM 13 to replace Jon Parkin and to play alongside Novikovas and Mackail-Smith. He was ****! Played 33 games. How many goals? NONE. What a waste of 1.3m

Gary Mackay-Steven. Not a bad player. But gets injured every second match. He's almost unplayable.

Lovren, Skrtel, Firmino, Balotelli and joe allen as pointless in the game as in real life......

I remember on FM11 I think it was, in a network managing Barca, one of the others was managing Valencia. I signed Juan Mata for £60m from him (Was one of the only ways I could conceivably improve the team as he was one of the world's best), and... he was AWFUL, in a team which had players like Erick Torres, Ganso (Or Paulo Henrique as he was known on that game), Neymar and Adem Ljajic, he was completely outshone, barely remember him getting a rating over 7.

Needless to say he was sold, for a massive loss. Me and the Valencia manager don't speak much now...

Signed Chicharito for my Newcastle team as a poacher and he was the worst player in every game finishing with ratings in the 5s. Had great crossers out wide but he just couldn't find th back of the net. Sold him to Porto and his strike rate is still disgusting.

Go for the hottest one, Kenedy, would never disappoint you. ;)

I agree with almost all of them, but Firmino too?! :O

In FM 15? Toni Kroos.

Bought him bunch of times and had few Real saves. Every time he is absolute garbage. In my most recent save I ended up benching Kroos, and playing 17 year old Ruben Neves with 120 CA and 5-7 points below in all the key stats for the role (DLP-S) and he's actually performing significantly better. Better pass accuracy, more key passes, more goals, game rates him 7.1 points on average, compared to 6.6 for Kroos.

I don't know what the **** is up with that. I peeked in the editor and even the hidden stats point out that Kroos should be godlike, but he's simply ****.
