This story may be a little bit different to the usual stories around here in the way that the story does not follow a manager, nor does it follow a player. It follows the board of directors at Liverpool FC, the New England Sports Ventures. A lot of decisions go into this story, such as finances, manager changes, and transfer budgets. Can NESV get Liverpool back into league contention, and back into European domination? We start this story on the 6th of July 2010 and the world is currently waiting on the outcome of the Gillette & Hicks vs Liverpool FC court verdict.

Hi Kenny, we’re delighted to have you on board. We’re going to give you until the end of the season to show us what you’ve got. We will review your achievements come the end of the season.
Here are our aims for the season;
Premier League – Top 4
Europa League – Reach The Quarter-Finals Minimum
FA Cup – Quarter-Finals Minimum
To do this we are going to give you 20 million pounds for transfers. However, should you get rid of any players you will receive 100% of the funds to go straight back into transfers.
Thanks, John.
