#FCBarcelona 2019/20 accounts cover a season when they finished second in La Liga and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. Their finances were significantly impacted by COVID-19 in the last 3 months. Some thoughts in the following thread.

Call me yerk, but I would like some big clubs get their ***** whooped by the money issues. Playing with dept, idiotic wages and trasnfer fees have gone too far without any concucenses. Yeah, definetly would be bad for many people financialy but the situation how some clubs are hold on float is also not right.

But it was not wrong decision taking into account the PL rules.

Was the original decision a mistake, then?
It is understood that the original decision is not considered to be a mistake, as it was in accordance with the offside rules and guidelines at the time.

However, upon consultation with IFAB, this new guidance means that Rodri would now be ruled offside if such a situation was to occur again.

Like I said, making it up as they go along.
 
If the original decision was correct, then it was a terrible rule that needed change.
