Super smart pick-up by Brighton given all their young players,

Really nice way to see out a career for Milner in a beautiful part of the Country at another terrifically well run football club who cares about the people first before the player. Ala what he's grown accustomed to at L’pool the past 8-years.

Couldn't be happier for him and I wish him, bar when we play Brighton, every success going.

Following on from yesterdays superb news that the decrepit dinosaur that is that horrible shithouse Martin Tyler is done at Sky, we now get the equally boss news that Peter Drury is joining as their lead commentator.

Peter Drury or Clive Tyldesley, teamed with Ally McCoist, is what live football commentary should be about. No bias. Just pure, unadulterated enjoyment of the game that's in front of them from the privileged seat they have to relay it With an easy yet informative tone to engage and educate even the most non-football fan out there. The exact, polar opposite to the dullest of dull diatribe and bias that came out of Tyler's LONG past it grid!

Sky live games have finally become worth watching again.

why the hate for tyler?

Seriously? Have you listened to his commentary's in the latter part of his career? It's like being at a funeral. Passionless. The comparison of Tyler doing a game, and Drury doing the same game, is Worlds apart. And his bias toward certain clubs, and players, in a supposed 'neutral' job, is nauseating.

Add to that that he disgracefully compared Hillsborough to hooliganism the other year, I won't view him as any loss not assaulting my ear drums on Sky personally.
