UEFA confirm Crystal Palace fate after decision on John Textor's involvement

UEFA have announced that Crystal Palace will be allowed to compete in the Europa Conference League next season.

Stlll can't get my head round this. Especially when Palace had no idea in March that they would make the final of the FA Cup, let alone win it. Hopefully they will win any appeal and UEFA will have to reconsider their rules especially regarding Local Cup Winners. Meanwhile if they do end up in the UEFA conference let's hope they win it just to embrass UEFA.

It's UEFA all over. They let Lyon walk all over them by avioding demotion then shaft the club that are well run just because they won a cup they weren't expected to win back in March. Hopefully they win their court case and make UEFA back track. No disrespect to Newcastle (who gain from the demotion) but there is something truly rotten about this decision.
