YOU ARE FLYING. :O. Whats your tactic?

Thanks mate. It is a simple 4-3-3 tactic I made myself. Where the two full backs provide the width. The team settings are very simple as well and the strategy is control and the philosophy is balanced. In truth I cant believe the results am getting with it :D

January Update

FA Cup 3rd Round
Leicester 0 Bristol City 4 - Harewood (10, 72) Clarkson (13) Baraztie (82)
MOM - Harewood

A game we totally dominated and we are delighted to be in the next round. After the game the draw seen us up against Man Utd Again! However we are looking forward to getting some revenge :D

Coca Cola Championship
Crystal Palace 1 Bristol City 1 - Danns (47) - Clarkson (pen27)
MOM - Danns

A very even game and both teams will be happy with a point. We had chances to win but so did they. We are still currently unbeaten this season :O

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 4 Preston 2 - Barazite (1) Maynard (25, 35) Elliot (63) - Dickson (12) Welbeck (87)
MOM - Maynard

A good home win and a good attacking display to go with it. Maynard was superb today and is really becoming our main man up front.

Goalscorer Maynard

FA Cup 4th Round
Bristol City 0 Man Utd 2 - Berbatov (19, 87)
MOM - Berbatov

We battled right til the final whistle against a full strength Utd side and we where right in the game until the 87th minute. Undoubtedly it was Berbatov's skill that undid us. We now must put the two cup defeats behind us can concentrate on the league.

Berbatov

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 1 Cardiff 1 - Harewood (15) - Chopra (52) Ledley S.O (39)
MOM - Marshall

We dominated from start to finish and our disappointed at not adding to Marlon's goal. However we still remain unbeaten in what has been a fantastic season for us!

Coca Cola Championship
Middlesbrough 2 Bristol City 5 - Aliadiere (64) McDonald (85) - Harewood (4) Rodriguez (26, 33) Clarkson (53) Elliott (63)
MOM - Rodriguez

What a result! We where 5-0 up at a one stage against one of the best teams in the division. This is probably one of the best results since I have been here. We now must push on as promotion is getting closer and closer with every win :D

Transfer Update

Bristol City had a pretty quiet transfer window with more people leaving than coming in.

Transfers In

Victor Anichebe > Everton > Loan

efc__1163085249_06-07.jpg

Victor joins on a 3 month loan deal and will provide good cover as Maynard is out injured for a month.

Fiederico Carraro > Fiorentia > Free

View attachment 69820

We are delighted to get such a good prospect for free. Carraro will join Leyton Orient on loan straight away in order to gain first team football.

Transfers Out

Jamal Campbell Ryce > Middlesbrough > 400k

CampbellRyce_2160676.jpg

Jamel is a quality player but with my no natural wingers system Jamal was really limited in first team appearances so he has moved on.

Aaron Amadi Holloway > West Ham > 850k

Aaron is a great prospect for the future but when West Ham made that sort of offer we could not refuse and so we left for the Hammers.

Jamie Mc Allister > Brighton > 150k

Jamie was unhappy with the amount of football he was getting so I allowed him to move on.

Youngsters Anikde and Carraro have joined feeder club Leyton Orient til the end of the season.

A Managers View

Another great month for the club which sees us still sit 12 points clear at the top of the table and still remain unbeaten this season in the league :D In the transfer window I decoded to let a few fringe players leave and we are delighted to get youngster Carraro and Victor to the club. We are disappointed Utd knocked us out of another cup but that is not our main concern. We now most focus on picking up points as soon as we can to ensure a great end to a fantastic season!

Wish I had money for quality signings :'(.

I'm amazed I am doing as well as I am with Rovers :P

WOW, your doing brilliant unbeaten in the league and some of the results your getting are brilliant as well. You outscore so many opponents but i think you might need to improve your defence when you go up. Good luck i hope you can go a season without losing!

February Update

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 4 Coventry 0 - Fontaine (10, 26) Clarkson (pen13) Harewood (16)
MOM - Fontaine

Another great performance and we where 4-0 up after 26 minutes and could have added to it after that apart from some great keeping.

Coca Cola Championship
Watford 4 Bristol City 3 - Demerit (21) Cowie (42) Helguson (63, 90+3) - Barazite (22, 26) Harewood (44)
MOM - Helguson

:( we now no what defeat feels like! A real kick in the teeth for the lads as the Watford winner came in the 93rd minute. We must not let the result get to is and push on.

After the match

Coca Cola Championship
Sheff Utd 2 Bristol City 2 - Williamson (33) Kallio (90) - Harewood (4) Rodriguez (85)
MOM - Kallio

Again bitter disappointment at the end as we conceded another late goal :( we have to regroup and put in a solid home performance next time out.

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 4 Leicester 0 - Maynard (28, 46) Carey (40) Rodriguez (42)
MOM - Maynard

A great performance that was needed after two late goals conceded. Maynard was in superb form and the captain gave a real solid performance at the back.

The captain had gone threw the wars

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 0 West Brom 3 - Slory (.6) Koren (38) McCombe (O.G 41)
MOM - Koren

A shocking performance! This is the first real bad performance since I have arrived! That is now our 2nd defeat this month which is really disappointing. Again we now must get points from our away game at Ipswich.

Coca Cola Championship
Ipswich 1 Bristol City 3 - Rosenior (54) - Harewood (4) [Maynard (42) Anichebe (76)
MOM - Harewood

A great performance to put a good shine on our worst month for the club. Anichebe got off the mark for the club.

Anichebe off the mark

Player Of The Month - Marlon Harewood

The on loan striker scored 3 goals this month and his work rated was top class.

A very disappointing month which saw us defeated for the first time this season but not once but twice. We did manage to recover with good wins against Leicester and Ipswich. We still sit 12 points clear at the top of the table with 12 games to go and we must now focus and concentrate on picking up all the pints we can and cement our position at the top of the table.

Had a look at this thread and your doing really well. I voted you to put in a Title Challenge. Hopefully you keep up the good form. Good updates BTW

Thanks mate! will be hoping for more than a challenge given our current position ;)

March Update

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 3 Doncaster 1 - Fontaine (8) Harewood (38) Wallace (60) - Heffernan (70)
MOM - Ross Wallace

A good solid home win that pleased myself and the Robins faithful. We are getting closer and closer to the dream of promotion with every win and we must remain focused on achieving that as soon as we can.

Coca Cola Championship
Reading 2 Bristol City 2 - Griffin (85) Long (90+4) Pearce S.O (65) - Maynard (9) Barazite (35)
MOM - Karacan

What where we doing? Two up, 1 man up with 5 minutes to go and we end up only getting a point! The boys heard a few harsh words after the whistle and if we do not concentrate and finish of the race for promotion it will be one of the **** ups of all time! we must improve the next day!

Long after the late late goal

Coca Cola Championship
Plymouth 1 Bristol City 0 - Mackie (.6)
MOM - Mackie

I really do not no what has happened to us! All I can put it down to is we our starting to dream of the big time when it is not a reality yet. Our next game sees us taken on the big boys in the division Newcastle and we must put in a good performance!

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 2 Newcastle 1 - Maynard (66, 84) - Williamson (71)
MOM - Maynard

What a result! We managed to put hide away all the pressure we where under and produce a top draw performance against the best team in the championship. When we need someone big to step up our top goal scorer did it...Nicky Maynard. Hopefully this will be the kick on we need.

The celebrating after the winner

Coca Cola Championship
Bristol City 1 Bransley 1 - Anichebe (57) - Robic (89)
MOM - De Laet

We are starting to be called the bottlers by some sections of the media! After a great win against Newcastle the fans turned out in there thousands only to be let down by a lack luster performance. Match report reads Must Do Better!

Goal Scorer

Coca Cola Championship
Peterborough 0 Bristol City 0
MOM - Zakunai

Another 2 points dropped and we our really making hard work of what seemed an easy task a couple of weeks ago. Anyway we move on! We also secured a Play off spot with this away point!

Player Of The Month - Ross Wallace

0,,10362~4875125,00.jpg

Wallace was superb this month and even got on the scorer sheet against Doncaster. However it was his defensive displays and long bursting runs from full back which caught the eye. A few question marks where asked when I paid nearly 9500k for the Scottish left sided player but on this month showing it was money well spent.

Another month that we have failed to live up to are great start to the season. Although we only lost once we conceded numerous late goals and also had 3 draws. However we still sit 9 points clear of Sheff Utd and WBA with 6 games to go. We must start putting wins on the board to ensure that we secure promotion and the title. If any of the teams in the spots below us out a run together and we continue playing like we have done in the last to months it is very much possible that we will get caught.

Super Nicky Maynard.

Good Luck in the prem next season (says me jumping to conclusions)

Hopefully your right mate only a few wins away would be one of the ultimate bottles if we failed lol
