QPR - Project F.C.
QPR (Queens Park Rangers) is a very unique club! Back in the 2005/06 season the club began to fall into administration and many scandals involving the club's directors and shareholders were publicised but the financial issues were solved in 2007 when it was announced the club had been bought by wealthy Formula One businessmen Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone after a string of poor performances under a variety of managers despite the financial boosts being put in by the new owners, the owners decided to hire Neil Warnock who had a reputation for his success of getting football teams promoted and sure enough QPR achieved promotion to the Barclays Premier League. Unfortunately Neil only lasted till January the next season where he was sacked due to a run of five straight defeats and Tony Fernandes appointed Mark Hughes as manager and the club narrowly escaped relegation despite a dramatic 3-2 defeat on the last day to Manchester City. The next season QPR were at the bottom half again and Mark Hughes was sacked and it looked impossible for the club to stay up but the chairman appointed Harry Redknapp who famously saved Portsmouth F.C. from relegation but even his managerial skills could not keep the club in the premiership. QPR are now in the Sky Bet Championship and have appointed England legend Charlie House.
