Agreed lol. I got Photoshop on Saturday and tried to jump right in. I'm totally confused. General help/tutorials would be nice but don't know where to go to find anything

A pic of me that I decided to fiddle round with. Not 100% happy with it but I don't really know how to improve it. It just sorta... happened :S
 
Best thing to do is look up tutorials on the web and keep messing about with stuff. It soon clicks together and can make some good stuff.

not bad attempt but just search on youtube and your sure to find loads i might even upload a few tutorials on how to make pictures but i dont know yet

The pic I posted was 20 minutes of random button clicking, all that I remember using was cross hatch from Filter > Brush Strokes and something to do with Neon Glow or something. Do you have any specific links to any good tutorials, just to get me going??

Ermm why don't you have a look through the thread lad. Photoshop's about having a laugh, not taking a picture of a man you fancy, adding some colours around him and then just writing something like ''the one and only'' or something lame like that next to it.

photoshop is about editing photos and that is what people are doing....
