Wrexham AFC can today reveal that former Wales International Mathew Roberts has taken over as manager after Dean Saunders left the club after failing to gain promotion to the Npower League 2. This is what M. Roberts had to say:
“ I’m over the moon that the board have trusted me with this great job that’s in front of me and 100% behind me with my plans “
He also added:
“ I’ve already got plans for the club which means there will be a lot of changes that will help this great club gain promotion and back to the Football League “
These were some over the comment’s by fans outside the stadium today:
“ Good decision in my opinion, I hope everyone will back him and the board “
“ I think it gives the club a big lift which is needed after the play-off defeat to Luton”
