The Return to Glory!

Hello guys,

I left my Colomiers Story behind for the moment, as i´m a fan of Derby County i wanted to do a story about them and return them to Glory. Also i Wanted to test one tactic in specific Supermike (I have used this tactic with Monterrey in Mexico for 2 seasons i won everything! League Opening and Closing Stage, Cup Opening Stage, Libertadores).

Everything started with Mr Brian Clough in 1967 the only change between Clough and myself will be that i will focus on developing my players instead of buying! (I will buy but only to strength the team and mostly young players).

The Goal is to get to the Premier League and win, also to become a complete force and fight to win the UCL/UEFA Cup, etc...


We will play attacking/aggressive football or a spat on sportsmanship (This because the teams don´t like to be pressure and tight marked for 90 minutes, Search for the story of Estudiantes de la Plata).

I did not make changes to the coaching staff and I just added one player to the team (Walter Kannemman DLC from San Lorenzo).

PRE-SEASON

The training as usual first 2 weeks Fitness Very High and then Tactics very high, Match Training was set to Team Work 50% with no rest.

So far the Pre-Season was good it was mostly to adapt to the tactics (one for Home games and other for away games)
The first game i made the mistake to align my Under 18 players (i was setting up the training and forgot to change the filter!)

Everything seems to be running smoothly, i´m adding a new tactic, a little more offensive combined with control, we will leave it on the pitch until is fluid, Is a tweaked version (official) by Kun Barca 3 ST ( Somebody else tweaked the Tiki Taka version of Kun with this offensive version, ankitd1994, Here´s the link Tiki Taka).

Another good month, 4 wins and 1 tied game, in all competitions, 1 of those wins was a lucky one!

Good game, lost concentration at the beginning but shut them off at the 20th minute, no shots allowed after that.

Thanks mate, It´s getting harder with all the injuries, now i have my GK injured and 2 defenders suspended! It´s time to bring youth to the first team.

By far the most difficult month yet. We still top of the league, we have an hospital (7 injured players!)

It was supposed to be a very difficult game, we started amazing but then! Kannemman again Red Carded starting the 2nd half! i had to make changes and we hold the lead! They had two shots in all the first half, completely dominated until the red card!

5th Month December

A perfect month!! All wins! The most harder game that i had it was the Capital One Cup Quarter Final, but won with a goal in the aggregate!

This month is a key month, we have Capital One Cup Semifinal against Chelsea, FA Cup starts (3rd Round) and the East Midlands Rivalry against Nottingham Forest.

We complicated things, our finishing was very poor! but we got a win.

I got to admit it was my mistake, too much pressure and aggressive football from my side, it was a game that at least should have tied, but with my instructions we got a Penalty kick against us at the end. But we show them that it was not going to be easy.

Amazing season!

So now getting ready for next season, 2nd, 3rd and 4th transfers completed for next season! I had to declare interest in them to provoke their desire to come with me, I will pay like forever for them, the initial fee is low but i had to offer 40% of the profit for the next transaction and some money paid in 48 months. Sorry they have accepted my offer but they haven´t confirm (Kaptoum and Ezekiel)

FA CUP FINAL and Transfer season (a surprise at the end)

Sorry guys, been caught up at work and house (moving finally to my new house!)

Derby - Tottenham (Neutral) FA CUP Final

Finally the date is here, The team is ready! A very difficult game ahead! Against all odds Derby is in the final!!! Do we expect a surprise or a mayor defeat?!?!?! 90,000 screaming fans waiting for the match, our fan base expecting the worst, but happy to be in the final!

My keeper was a monster! 1-0 from the 22nd minute until the end, at the 84th minute Dany Rose ties the game! we go to extra time, my players barely can hold them selves together (very tired) with no subs left! too much pressure in our goal, we are hopping that we can hold them off to go to penalties kicks and then the unexpected!! Chris Martin scores!!!!!!!!! I change the tactic from Counter to Contain, i almost put all my players in defense to hold 6 more minutes!!! (i did change the duties to defend and support!)

AND WE DID IT!! We shock the world!!! (Sorry, a little over the top, but at least we shock Tottenham! Eat that Lord Sugar!)

After a great season, Will Hughes insisted on leaving Derby in case that Tottenham makes an offer for him, tried to talk him off but did´t listen, his mind was set, so i thought that if a set a high fee we will scare tottenham and keep Hughes, big mistake!
