New Brake-Away Club Announced

Many fans from popular forum, HighburyTalk, have today announced there plans for a new breakaway club, have been accepted, and will now enter the English football league system.
Many have asked why. Well, reports have it that fans were unhappy with the lack of atmosphere at the new stadium, and also the vastly overpriced tickets. None of which we believe has any truth. Although we will support the new club in there rise through the English leagues, there could be a slightly underlying rivalry. And when we say support, Arsenal have proved how much fans mean to them by donating a substantial amount of players to the new club, in order to keep fans following both sides.

The new club itself, named Athletic Football Club of Highbury, has bought the old ground, just before the demolition was about to occur, and have confirmed they have sold a good number of season tickets.

More on this matter to follow.

Thanks, I'll give overview of Club and squad before I go to bed.

I'm Arsenal Fan, so I'll 100 percent be following! :)

Former Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has taken over at new break away club AFC Highbury.

Dutch Feel To Highbury

bergkamp0310.jpg

After the new North-London club was formed, many were left wondering who would want to take the job as manager of the newly instated Conference club. It seems as if the job was perfect for the man known as the 'ice-man'. He will get a chance to once again link up with former players, in an attempt to one day make AFC Highbury as big as Arsenal FC. Dennis has quickly acted to sign a few loanees, but it looks as if no deals of large fees/substantial have taken place.

Nice idea, I remember reading your FM09 one, it was good :P

I'm gonna follow even though I'm a Spurs fan cause this seems as it will be an interesting read but you should easily get promoted first season good luck Frankie :) .
