Dennis Bergkamp has made a content start to life as a manager, picking up 4 wins from 6, as the new club start life in the Blue Square Premier. It started very well with a 3-0 away win against a hard battling Ebbsfleet team, with goals from Merida, Wellington Silva and talented youngster Benik Afobe.

Then AFC Highbury played there first game at Highbury, comfortably brushing past a weak Mansfield team 4-1. Soon after , Highbury, off to Kenilworth Road where Highbury snatched all three points in close game, which the score of 3-0 didn't show.

Highbury and York then played out a very poor game with both teams cancelling each other out, with no teams coming close to score.

The last two games produced lots of goals, with the Retro Army beating Crawley 3-1, then drawing 2-2 to a very strong Stevenage team.

AFC Highbury lie in 2nd, but are still confident of a title win.

5 games, 5 straight wins sends an in-form AFC Highbury team to the top of the league. It seems as if no-one can handle the quick free-flowing football Dennis Bergkamp has got them playing. The results have been quick, easy and effiecient.
