Football has now changed forever. International football governing bodies have given the green light for goal line technology AND the chip in the footballs. It is expected to be started to be used as early as December. The goal line technology will be self-funded by the clubs-which is estimated to cost at least £1 million to be installed

Can the Premier League now choose which system they implement by themselves? Or can clubs choose which system they want? GoalRef is surely much cheaper than installing cameras all over the stadium.

I think (could be wrong but fairly sure) that the clubs can choose. They're also under obligation to install it. Quite ironic though that a company bought the rights to it a few months ago and now they chose to allow it lol

I like the Goalref's technology and idea, but just wondering if that will like make the ball heavy and you all those stuffs. Hawkeye also has it disadvantages, like some on could hack the camera or all of a sudden the power is out:P

Why not just allow TV replays. Jesus.

As always FFFA shoots fly with a cannon.
