I look for free players, I find this amazing Ukrainian lad, I offer him a nice £5k/w contract with a £100k signing bonus, I finished 4th in the Prem and won the Carling Cup and the FA Cup in the first season and fully expect him to sign for me. What does he do? He signs for Karpaty who finished 10th in Ukraine. I hate it.

best thing is i only stumbled across him by accident, wasnt even searching. Just wanted to see who was be oldest player on my save so went to put it in age order and it did youngest first first. saw he was £2.3M at 15 so thought i'd have a look!

EDIT: just had £15M rejected for him......i will pay ANYTHING

What?! Still impressive for a 15 year old. I've had 18 year olds with lower CA, but about the same PA.

More like smart *******... Whatever he pays, The lad will be worth 2 or 3x more by the time he's 25.

I got him....finding it hard to bring myself to actually type what i paid for a 15 year old. £40.5M

To be honest i got to the stage of this save where the money for Real is ridiculous so i can pay whatever i need to for a player i want. For instance how much do you think this guy cost me six game months ago?

Na they just wouldnt go for anything less than £65M. He was at Arsenal who are richest team on my save and they just didnt wanna sell. And all up front....cant be arsed with this 48 month horseshit and % of next transfers

And despite spending £65M and £40.5M I still have £140M left to spend on other targets. Plus i find spreading all this money around helps even the game out and keep it entertaining
