I've been looking at this thread for ages and just decided to put some of mine on now. Some of them aren't outstanding like the Amadou Vrillons etc., but they have given my team a lot of success, so thought I'd show a few of them.

Jules Meyer (AMC - France) Age: 23. Fee: £5.5M (Montpellier) Current value: £7M. Currently back up to Eden Hazard. Tends to come off the bench as Hazard's age has increased. Great technical player providing a lot of assists.

View attachment 253371
Leandro Mendez (DC - Argentina) Age: 25. Fee: £10.5M (Atlas) Current value: £31M. Rock solid centre half and easily one of the best at his position in the world. Doesn't score many goals but he's Mr. Reliable in my team.

View attachment 253370
Lloyd Evans (DC - Wales) Age: 26. Fee: N/A. Current Value: £25.5M. A rare product of the youth academy that has made it at first team level. Value hides the fact he's gone off the boil a bit in the last season or two.

View attachment 253369
Mohamed Kone (AML - France) Age: 25. Fee: £4.8M (Lyon). Current value: £34.5M. Developed into a world beating winger with great consistent performances. This season's goals and assists a little lower than previous seasons.

View attachment 253368
Santos (ST - Brazil) Age: 24. Fee: £875K (Coritiba). Current value: £23M. Bought in the hope of selling on for a profit but has developed into the squad's main frequent goalscorer. Very good scoring record over the last two seasons has already cemented his place as a club legend.

View attachment 253367
Zoubir Rezig (DL - France) Age: 22. Fee: £2.9M (Monaco). Current value: £31M. Quick development has meant he's become a world leading full back. Great stats despite his lack of height in defence - pace and physical stats easily make up for marking and heading.

View attachment 253366
Armando Gentile (DMC - Italy) Age: 24. Fee: £2.8M (Intel Milan). Current value: £31.5M. Midfield maestro partnering Lorenzo Crisetig in defensive midfield. Ridiculous pace and physical stats for a player in his position and again, a lack of height made up for. Seems to score at will when he picks the ball up from 25-30 yards.

Charles (AML - Nigeria) Age: 22. Fee: £50K (Enyimba). Current value: £9M. Again, another investment initially, but now back up to Kone on the left wing. Looks promising as cover and good stand in.

View attachment 253364
Claudio Carrara (ST - Italy) Age: 19. Fee: £26M (Inter Milan). Current value: £5.25M. Massive investment for the future and on initial appearances as a sub and in cup games he's provided well. Scored two goals against Barcelona to help win the most recent Champions League final.

View attachment 253363
Emanuel Effiong (AMR - Nigeria) Age: 27. Fee: £14.5M (Ajax). Current value: £33.5M. Assist machine from the wing who provides a decent amount of goals each season as well. World beater on his day, of which he has many.

View attachment 253362
Federico Redolfi (DC - Italy) Age: 22. Fee: £16.5M (Roma). Current value: £11M. Another investment for the future who is still a backup at centre half so hasn't had as many appearances as he probably should - still one for a couple of seasons' time.

View attachment 253372
Junior (DC - Brazil) Age: 22. Fee: £1.5M (Atletico Paranaense). Current value: £14.75M. This season has seen him come into his own in terms of goalscoring as well as defensive ability. With Evans' drop in performance he's now formed a great partnership with Mendez.

Current starting XI: Hart, Rezig, Junior, Mendez, Corchia, Crisetig, Gentile, Kone, Hazard, Effiong, Santos.

seems like you have a very decent side. pity its City :D to be fair, you have some absolute monsters in there. And Charles is probably the biggest bargain I have ever seen in my entire life. 50,000 pounds, what a joke! Gentile is an incredible player as well, one of the best I've seen.

Yeah, I found Charles really early thanks to a good bit of scouting. Loaned him out for 3/4 seasons and a big side picked him up after the first time, got a few games under his belt so been really impressed with how it worked out!

Had an idea of showing off a team of regens from my cov game where the whole team came to no more than 1 million. the formation would be 4-1-2-2-1. The team cost me 892k.

extremely decent side for under a million..amazing stuff.

Second season with CSKA Sofia and I stumble across Tancho Russinov, accidently, in my U19s. 16 years old and he's already got a Bulgaria cap, improving every week. I'm not involving him in too much first team football at the moment, so I may send him out on loan. Managed to tie him onto a long and very cheap contract with no clauses in it :) however Man City and Arsenal are both interested. Safe to say he's the best player I've ever had come through an academy!

Got to a point where my team is almost all regens. Still have a few old players, Bale, CR7, Sakho & Gotze (Gotze is the only one still in the 1stXI)

Put the players into positions and in order of selection.

Notes:
*Lotfi's stats should be higher but he's just come back for a long term injury when his stats dropped.
*I play a 4-2-3-1 formation.
*In terms of CF, George is a brand new signing and I'm yet to decide who is better.
*Had most of the players since they were teenagers, except for George, Catic, Coleman and Berghuis.
*All the Spanish players are products of the youth system (current derth of quality of Spanish Regens)

how do i get youth intakes? i'm only in 2012 so i'm not very likely to get any am i?

Every club gets a fresh intake of youngsters each year

Football Manager 2012 Regen Dates « Aid The Boss
This shows the specific dates of each countries regen intakes.

They will arrive as Youth candidates on a trial basis and you can choose which ones you want to keep at the club. Also good to know when other countries have their intake dates.

talented side. I think your Italian CB looks to be arguably your best player. The rest are not special, but very very good nonetheless. aren't there better CMs in your game? and what roles do you have your two CMs in?

mikod, how is your Southampton side doing? I am playing them as well in 2016-2017 and wanted to compare.
