Should I buy Guillaume Chapuis? He is one of the best players I've seen and with my two best strikers(ss down below) he'd make the best striker trio I've ever seen! Thing is, he costs around 40-45 mil. euros and although I have the money to buy him(I have 67 mil. euros in bank and a transfer budget of 60(stupid game!)), I want to build a new stadium at the end of this season and I don't know if it would cost me in the long run if I buy him.

Seriously? He's 36 and has 15 pace, acceleration, flair and 20 off the ball, finishing, composure, first touch, anticipation etc.?!?!?!?!?!??!?????????????!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG I'd play him in my first team till he's 45!

lol absolutely not!!! you have Pele who's only 20, and amazing already. just train him on composure, everything will increase with time anyway. absolutely do not buy him if you want a new stadium.

UNREAL. Easily the best player I've ever seen too. Pity he's going to retire. he is insanely good. OMFG.

Well, thing is I play a 3-4-3(strikers) formation and I need 1 more striker(besides these two, I have two Croatians who are modest potential and I can't/won't sell them cause I play in Croatia so I need Croatians, and in January a young Turk and a young South African will arrive, both have great potential) because the optimal amount of strikers for this kind of formation is 7, so if 2 or 3 or even 4 strikers get suspended or injured I have backups... though I do agree with you, I don't need more good potential strikers cause I'll have 4 then and I'd like one who is already complete(and this one is like one of the best strikers in the world)

Would this one do instead of Chapuis? He'd cost 20 mil. euros.

well he is very good too..but i don't see why you need to buy so many strikers. if i was looking for a backup, i would look for someone who's under 18 years old, so you can make them home grown at club, and can give them game time in easy games.

I told you I play a formation with 3 strikers and since I rotate much(so that 18 year old get experience and the already developed get some rest for the Champions league because Croatian league is sh*t and I don't want them to get too tired when youngsters can do the job) I need 7 strikers. I also already told you that I already have two young strikers to be developed and 2 which will arrive in January! I need the 3rd already developed striker for Champions League!

lol don't play with three already-developed strikers is my point! In the CL, change your formation maybe.... I'm thinking from the point of view that you want to build a new stadium. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't spend any money on players at all...not a significant amount anyway. If you must buy an 'already-developed striker' then buy the cheaper one :D

Why would I change a formation with which I won 5 Champion Leagues in 10 years? I see from which viewpoint you make replies and OK I won't buy a developed striker cause I spotted one 18-year old who has a very good potential...

thats brilliant. see, thats exactly what i was trying to convey. have a young striker with potential who you can get cheaply, and give him game time. whats the worse it can do? You'll only win everything domestically again and maybe reach the Champions League final and not win it. And you might even win it assuming the rest of your team is good! so you've made a wise decision :D :D good luck with that stadium now! maybe they'll name it after you!

lol yeah, i sort of assumed you would be club legend. That not a bad side, but it could do with a bit of quality in midfield I feel. Btw, when is the last time you won a CL..if you haven't won it in a while, then forget the stadium and go after buying quality players.

Yeah Pook and Watts aren't that good, but seriously I can beat better quality teams even with players which are not nearly as good as the opponents squad. Second season(when I somehow managed to buy some decent players) with Hajduk me against Milan in first knockout round CL Milan beat me 4-3 (2-2 and 2-1 for Milan) although in both games I've outplayed them(**** you Ibrahimović!), and every season from then on it get easier and easier. I won two times in a row CL these last two seasons... The only problem about the stadium is that the board(I've already tried to get them to build a new stadium) says the fanbase won't grow(have 20 sellouts per season on a 35k capacity ground) and I need a new stadium because I'll get much more from gate recepiets(ticket cost higher). Also, I think my sweeper Meddahi is the best CB/SW I've seen posted on this thread!

yeah, then try and get a new stadium. i know what you mean, are the players you have at the moment the best in the world in their positions? because if not, work on signing the best 16-year olds and build another generation of legends :D yeah, Meddahi is certainly a very good defender! :D

Well, Fausther and Pele will become the best, Sylla and Meddahi already are and the rest are close...

As I said, I'll sell half to most of my current squad and get at least 11 18-year olds(pretty radical I know) who are all great potentials and they're already decent players... Also I'm getting Modrić to tutor some of my players(and later become a coach too)!

yeah, sometimes radical is good. From my PSG side, I got rid of Hazard, M'Vila, Sissoko, Pastore, Niang..everyone..you have to sell like crazy and by young talent. you have to take risks :)
