My future front two with Burnley:

Cost a combined £240k, Vanspauwen £130k from Genk, and Harkin £110k from Glentoran.I know Harkin doesn't look much, but I've turned down offers from Man City, and he has the potential to be better than Sigurdsson, so he can't be too bad, and he's scoring and playing well on loan at Charlton in the Championship.

Also, this guy, picked up on a free from Stuttgart:

I know his mental attributes are not particularly anything to shout about... but his technical skills aint so bad.. tried to sign him with fulham... forgot he had no caps for argentina.. worth £4m?

My strategy of surviving then building with youth definitely payed off, and will undoubtedly continue. My GK, Horvat played the whole of last season conceding 39 in 31 games, and keeping 10 clean sheets, and at 16 years old.

Trying to sign him but he's not interested in entering any contract negotiations - any tips?

I've already tried admiring him and declaring interest but he still won't enter any contract discussions.

wow, Casillas in the making. Well, seems like you've tried everything. Just give it time maybe. if he's not interested, there's practically nothing much you can do about it. Because even if you do declare interest, the player will retaliate with something like "i have no intention of signing for blah blah blah". So best just to give it time.

Currently my two best regens.

Bought him from PSV for almost 35 millions. In his last season in The Netherlands he managed to score 6 goals and made 6 assists playing at DM position. He's been seriously injured for over 3 months, so that's way his attributes got deteriorated.

quick update on my two nigerian Stars at As Monaco FC
samson Igwe - improved massively in the last couple of months the introduction of european football has helped in his development
Emma Johnson - could be the best right back of his generation :) will only sell him if i get a huge offer
 
This is the best ST in my team, he just beat my previous STs record goals:
