this is the best english regen by a country mile in my game.

is anyone else getting very few top english regens, or is it just me.

am getting very few wingers of top quality coming through. lots of CAM but very few wingers. i am currently playing with 3 AMs and no wingers because of this problem. just me? if not this is surely a prob that needs to be changed in FM13. also too many regens are quick so having 16-17 pace is very average surely this needs to be changed.

Snapped him up quickly and was fair shocked that he wanted to move to Shakthar and not staying at Manchester United!

Do you have any ideas what to train him on? I'm planning to have him as a CM.

use him as a BWM. train him on quickness, strength, passing, marking, long shots, stamina and off the ball, not necessarily in that order.

it depends on what system you use. i play a fluid, attacking 4-2-3-1 with the 2 being CMs. so i like players who can use the ball as well as defend. i would train him as a deep-lying playmaker and work on his passing touch, technique etc. as well as his defensive abilitys. lack of pace does not matter to much to me. a lot of people dont rate the DL playmaker but it has works very well for me especialy with regens.

alternativly malhars sugestion is good if you want a BWM. an other option is a BTBM but imj not sure he has the attacking ability.

i very rarely play with a purely defensive minded CM. usualy i have a BTBM and a DLPM in support. or a AP in support with a DLPM in support or defend.

View attachment 271356I got him on a free from Dortmund, but I have 3 better AMC/CM's. Should I just sell him just after getting him or keep him? Only really got him because 2/3 years ago they wanted 30 odd million for him so I thought I'd give them the proverbial kick in the teeth.

If he's fourth choice, I'd sell him. Maybe tutor a couple of players with him along the way too.

This guy is my new record signing but I'm 100% confident he'll be worth even more in 8/9 years' time.

I'm not sure how well this would have posted but basically this is my Manchester United team in 2020. I would love feedback on what you think of my team :D btw i play a 4-3-1-2 formation :)

They are all world class, only thing if i was you i would probably wanna get some more english players, but the game doesnt produce alot of good ones :(

Yeah i did think that which is why i have a few 'good' english players im trying to bring into the team but as you said it hard getting the game to produce any :/
