Twenty-nine year old, former Manchester United and England playmaker Ryan Peters has been unveiled by the Slovakian FA as the Slovakia national team manager. The news came as shock to the nation as ex-Slovakia manager Vladamir Weiss left the throne due to medical reasons and will be physically unable to coach for another 3-4 years. Peters who was recently coaching in England released a statement saying:
This has come as a big shock to me and my fans. I'm very disappointed for Weiss and I wish him a healthy recovery. I've discussed terms with the Slovakian FA and have six months to learn Slovak and get scouts to report players' progress to my desk.

Slovakian fan-favourite Aleksandro Alek has made it public that he has total faith in ex-English star Peters as he comes from a winning background, telling fans not to criticize their manager and to stop adding from the weight on his shoulders. Alek also stated that Peters is the right man for the job and his ambition could give the squad more freedom and determination.
