I've always hated the English media aswell but don't let that hinder your opinion on the English people. 90% of the English people i know/speak to are great and nothing like that.

Surely you coming on here and slating the English makes you as bad as the reporter you are moaning about?

as soon as rooney went down i thought it was a foul the other way. i was absolutely gobsmacked when we were given a penalty, then seeing in the paper how the players ankle was snapped i was absolutely disgusted and nobody in the paper once said we didnt deserve it. sure their was "it was a controversial decision" but thats not quite the same as saying the ref was wrong. he was wrong rooney hacked him down and was awarded for it thats worse than what eduardo done at least nobody got injured from what he done.
 
The Sun is a laugh anyway, don't pay any attention to it. Disputably the worst newspaper in the world. Hope Croatia win anyway!

I live in Thailand and couldnt care whats being said in the media elsewhere.

That aside, nobody ever takes what the Sun says seriously. But Croatia really won't win.. I would be surprised if you even qualified..

I mean it was all okay with the president of your FA accusing our players of having an injury "conspiracy" against Croatia.. How ridiculous.. Things the Sun publishes are mainly bull, admittedly. But now you are abusing English people for no reason? :S

Im English and i hate the English media and im not just talking about the written press,im including Sky and the BBC and ****** Talksport.The lot of them are impertinent **** stirrers who think the sporting world revolves around England particularly London.However i find your post bang out of order slating the whole nation because of this,i mean we stopped burning witches over 300 years ago so Eduardo is quite safe,for now.

get off your high horse..rooney didn't dive..he actually fouled the player and the ref got the decision wrong!
Eduardo dived..he cheated!!! he attempted to con the ref and he should pay the price, and so should every player that is found of a diving.

I'm sick of SOME Croatians claiming victimization..first Bilic with players getting injured.. and now you..get over yourself!!!..the British press slate everyone, even their own nation, don't let get to your head!

You talking nonsense,how many players in premiership dives every week and nothing,(Rooney,Drogba,Ronaldo earlier)
 
I'm not sure if the point you're trying to make got lost in the translation, but you're basically stereotyping the English after an English journalist stereotyped the Croatian national team supporters?

Why take what one person who works for the SUN seriously. You shouldn't stereotype the English just because of that. This is a Football Manager site, so why not talk about that?
 
I love this place. Whenever there's a big match about to happen, there's an equally big "verbal-jousting"(the other name for trash-talking) going on in here.
