SHOCK SACKING SOURS PROMOTION

Just days after securing back to back promotions with Southampton, Nigel Adkins was left in tears, after the Saints board announced they thought a new approach was needed to succeed in the premier division.

Fans of the south-coast side are said to be shocked at the news, with social media going crazy at the news

@southcoastsammy absolutely shocked at the news, Adkins should feel betrayed #DISGUSTED

@SaintsFanDavid Awful decision from Cortese #HeadsGone

The Southampton have announced a replacement will be appointed shortly

Southampton Announce Former Argentine International As Boss
Southampton have announced former Argentine international Mauricio Pochetinno as the new man the helm, the Argentine, 40, was given permission by the Espanyol board to speak to the Saints board following the mutual termination of his contract with the Catalonia side. Mr.Pochetinno who had been with his beloved Espanyol for whom he made 216 appearances, will perhaps be most well known to English fans for his 'foul' on Michael Owen in the 2002 world cup which offered David Beckham and co redemption for France '98, Saints fans will be baying for blood and Pochetinno will know he has a tough job on his hands to win over the south-coast crowd

*notes* have removed Pochetinno from the editor, I am also well aware there is another very good Southampton story on this forum from SamBirch91, however this is first and foremost THE Pochetinno story, I will not be staying at Southampton throughout the story, main goal is take charge of Argentina at some point :)
