the game is difficult but if you sacrifice your social life to SI god, then you'll eventually start winning everything, just check around the forums, read the TTF and build yourself a solid tactic, then tweak it each game and please build your tactic around your players, not the other way around.

why always with a lone striker?

have you figured that if you play 2 then its much better? try and commit and get players foward, Cant always play safe by playing a extra midfielder or defnder in exchange of a striker

the problem is I play with liverpool and since there sold robbie keane they have only torres as a forward. babel is better as a winger.

So how should I play with them?

thats what money is for..

i take back everything i said have now lost last 10 games most recent results losing 3-0 to hull and then 3-0 to wigan i think it is time for me to turn this game off before i smash it. can someone enlighten me as the game itself says try not to make to many tactical changes as your team will not gel yet if you keep the same one you win for a few games and then your world beating team in less than a second become the worlds best losers. What a contradiction......:@

Bollocks this game is class.......... Most of the time lol

A general question, which tactical framework is better for liverpool, more a creativ or a controll tactic?

f.e. nike defence or bands of two?

Amen.

TTF09 is a (fantastic) guide to get you started, but no tactic will work with every team. Examine your team and adjust the individual tactics to fit the types of players you have.

If a player is having a run of bad form, its reasonable to assume that he isn't fitting the role you've given him.

4-3-3 attacking but with wingers instead of strikers, and a defensive mid - works every time without fail.

i dare say the 5x5 benitez flavour would work or the bands of two,

The main problem is the win away games. What can you recommend me?

I use a very balanced tactic for away games, but its not good enough.

Is liverpool too weak to win the pm league?

You're having the same problem as Liverpool have in the real world - teams parking the bus :D

The framework is really about football philosophy and how you want your team to play. It's the tactics not the mentality which you should be thinking about changing. Have you enough creativity? Are you getting enough crosses in? Are you forcing the opposition into mistakes by pressing them hard in their own half? Things like that ;) The TT&F download has a section about variants for different situations - an offensive control tactic would be my choice for weaker teams with Liverpool. Lots of possession, lots of pressure but solid so you don't get caught on the break.

you think that an offensive control tactic would better work for weaker teams like liverpool? That means control tactics like the nike defence, rule of one or libero defence. Where can I find more of some control based tactics?

But can you tell me please what should I do in away games, I know its in general very difficult in this game to win away, but there must be a solution.

my biggest problem is to tweak helpful for away games. For games that I am the surer favourtie I use a balanced tactic. Its not good enough.

If the scouts report me the pitch is narrow or on the small side. how should I tweak the passing, tempo, defence line and width?

On the opposite for long pitches, how should I tweak for this?
