Does the option 'playable/view-only' on the 'New Game' menu have any effect on the games performance i.e. will it run quicker? Also, does changing the detail level effect the games performance i.e. changing world cup detail to 'main stages only' etc. Cheers lads

The detail level does have an effect, but haven't used view only option.

Yes. The more playable leagues the more calculations the computer must make, and same for view-only. Not sure about the others, but the less the computer needs to do, the less power it requires.

View-only is good if you may send your players out on loan to these countries, as these games will still occur, though as the name indicates, you can't manage these teams.
