Cheers but I can't get him until January due to the transfer cap. :'(

Let me get this straight................... can you bid for a over-21 player now but get him in January. E.g. Bid for Beckham (unlikely to join) but get him on a free in January, is that against the rules or not?

Erm yeah that is fine.

As long as you don't play them before January, e.g get a 25 year old on a free transfer before January and then you play him, that is against the rules.

I've already got a 21 year old AMC coming in for £2m in 48 monthly installments. I'm trying to keep the squad young for this season and if we do get promotion then I'll fill it with experience.

Great read so far lads, looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season pans out for the both of you. I have a terrible feeling that one of you will end the season much much better than the other, but we'll see ;) <)

Very good win, they didn't cause us any problems and we just dominated them. Good home win performance once again.

Very pleased with the late winner :D Decided to bring on Joe Garner after I put him on the bench for the first time since returning from a pre season injury, and he came on to smash home a 40 yard screamer. One to watch for the future certainly. Great win.

One word. Dominant. They had 1 shot all game and it went way wide. We were brilliant in midfield, passing the ball around them beautifully and they couldn't handle it. Another fantastic home performance.

Slightly mixed feelings here, I thought we could of won the game, but John Fleck who came in for Federico Macheda who was on International duty with Italy U21's scored 2 goals here and got us back level quite late on. As I said before, anything away from home is good in this league if your home form is as good as ours ;)

Absolutely fantastic result. We were rampant in the first half, I said before the game to the players in the team talk "Pressure is off" and they played like Arsenal but better, poetry in motion. Newcastle were a big threat upfront and always looked like getting something from the game but Lee Camp was on top form and has been key to why we've only conceded 5 goals in 12 games. One of the best results of the season so far :D

Well, as you can see from the table, we've been absolutely brilliant, but I don't know quite how long we can keep this up for. May aswell enjoy it while we can ^^)

Home form has been class and so has the defence and our overall form. Brilliant :D ^^)

Excellent results there, especially at home to Newcastle (Chris won't be happy :P)

I voted for Chris because I want to prove him wrong and for him to show us that Max isn't the only great manager! <)
