In a game we dominated from start to finish we couldnt find the net which is really worrying me at the moment. A 90th minute goal when we pushed all out for the winner was tapped in by Schmidtgal. A real learning point for me. As we lost 1 point in the end.

Mintal Klose Pinola - Macheda


Yet another poor showing we knew it would be hard as Nurnberg had won their first two games.
They took the lead after 14 minutes as intal headed back across Mullers goal into the bottom corner.
It would soon be 2 as Klose headed in from a corner on the 33rd minute.
The game was basically done and dusted as Pinola's freekick went straight through Mullers hands.
Macheda got a consolation goal after he chested down a pass in his own half and ran through into the 18 yard box to strike across the advancing keeper.

Szalai Bungert Macheda - Van Der Vaart Rudnevs Ilicevic 2 Jiracek

Yet again we taste defeat at home! Poor! A pretty even game but we found ourselves 3-0 at HT thanks to goals from Van Der Vaart(2) Rudnevs (21) and Ilicevic (42)
Szalai made it 3-1 with a neat finish after a long ball by Lichaj on the 49th Minute.
Bungert then headed in from a corner on the 51st minute.
Before Ilicevic(82) and Jiracek(86) sent the game beyond Mainz touch.
Macheda grabbed a late goal again(91) as he gambled on a loose ball in the box.
