🚨#SaintsFC have agreed a deal to sign Mislav Orsic from Dinamo Zagreb and is close to being completed.

Initial fee worth around £6m, with club keen to bring players in quickly. Orsic is over 27 but Nathan Jones wants experience.

Being as you haven’t got a pot to **** in, I don’t think there’s any chance of that mate.

Mad to me how Arsenal are so serious. I might be probed wrong if he goes there, but he looks completely unsuited to the PL.

He was absolute class in Portugal for Porto I think it was and has been for his national team. In his later career I still think he’s around a goal every 2 games ish. Would do for 6 months. He’s still got a bit of pace about him and his hold up play is still good. Always been skilful.

Manchester United have held exploratory talks over signing Wout Weghorst on loan.

Would require Besiktas to agree to Burnley recall, but Weghorst seen as genuine short-term option at Old Trafford.

Includes quotes from John Murtough from latest #MUFC fans’ forum. Says club won’t be “busy” in Jan but want a centre forward. Says they are “already well under way with our planning for next summer”. Clearly, any sale of club could heavily influence those plans though
