TODs TRANSFER CENTRE

Why are they good squad option? Weghorst offers nothing but the work rate. His movement is bad, and even when he gets the chance he can't finish anything. One of the worst finishers in Europe who can't progress with the ball either. What's the point of having striker like that?
And Sabitzer? You have your fair share of mediocre midfielders in Fred and McTominay. He'd fit right in.

His movement isn’t bad and his link up play is good and he’s very good at starting the press. Obviously he’s in the squad to score gls. Tbh he’s not had great service since he’s signed from either wing. And he like Sabitzer have been thrown in in the middle of a season playing crazy amount of games per week. Trying to do a job in a team that’s struggling with injuries, suspensions, fatigue and no time on the training pitch. If you think Sabitzer is mediocre you haven’t really watched him much. And that’s up to you mate your opinion.

He averages 2 shots per game with 3.5 touches in penalty box. That is dreadful and among the worst in Europe. He cannot create for himself and he's not a targetman. He's tall, but he's never been known for his heading ability.
Regarding Sabitzer, he's a squad player. You have those in Fred/McTominay. Make some room for younger players from the academy.

Sabitzer better than both of those players. He’s better than Donny. Signing him for the rumoured 18/19m and selling McTominey and Donny would be good business. There are no midfielders in the youth setup close to being ready yet. Maybe Hannibal but he oppetates better as a 10 or a very attacking 8. And he’s got a lot to work on before he gets a sniff in our squad. His temper being the main one.

Better or not, he's a squad player at best.
You have players who are training with the first team whole season. You have some on loan. Heck, you can alway buy someone promising. You don't stockpile with 5-6 options for one position, it's madness. Not even City is doing that.

I know he’s a squad player and better than the others we have. No one is talking about stock piling there’s literally 2 we can sell for decent fees and one is running out of contract.

We are obviously going to bring in a CM. Then your options would be Casemiro, Eriksen, New CM, Sabitzer. Then maybe someone like Galbraith, Hannibal, Mainoo can impress in pre season to stake a claim in the squad.

Chelsea have agreed a deal for Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle. Package could rise to €20m, as per @FabrizioRomano. Will be a record for a 15-year-old.

Manchester United suitors expect to hear back from Raine Group this week and get clarity on the next step of the process. Things largely still on track despite the second bids of Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe coming in slightly late.

Erik ten Hag is sold on Harry Kane as 1st-choice centre-forward target this summer. But there are major doubts Daniel Levy will sanction a sale.

Kane focussed on getting CL with #THFC.

#MUFC assessing viability.

Other options too.

United have also inquired about the following strikers:
Victor Osimhen
Gonçalo Ramos

Patrick Berger

Jeremie Frimpong is a top target for Manchester United, as already reported. His agents and #MUFC had initial talks. Bayer Leverkusen already preparing for Frimpongs departure as they finalized the summer transfer of Arthur (América MG). 🇳🇱 @SPORT1

❗️Excl. News #Frimpong: Talks between his agent Jeffrey Lemmert and @manutd have started! 1st round was very positive. Ten Hag admires the player. Frimpong is open to leave Leverkusen in summer. Contract until 2025.

Top season of the 22 y/o: 8 ⚽️/ 9 🅰️!

Frimpong is like Dalot ^2. Twice as good going forward, twice as bad when defending.

He’s a better defender than Dalot. But agree it’s not his strength. Going forward getting assists and crosse and being great in the build up play. And is also a superb dribbler.

Dalot, easily. AWB is a specialist, and sometimes you need those. He added a bit to his game going forward and it's a no brainer for me. Dalot is alright going forward, but does not excel at anything. Well maybe passing.
And Frimpong is really defensively suspect mate. TAA is a better defender than him. So naturally I'm torn apart on this one. Is there someone better than Frimpong and available for resonsble price?

Yeah I would keep AWB. Interesting you think TAA is better as nearly all German league watchers and a lot of Pool fans on Reddit / Redcafe think the opposite defensively.

I think as long as you’re pretty good in that regards you’re fine. Some of the best FBs around are not great defenders. But are usually very good on the ball and have pace to get back to help out.

RB would defo be in my top 3 targets to strengthen this summer with a STR and a CM.

I could see both Dalot and AWB moved on in the next 2 summers. And see Laird coming back as a back up to Frimpong.

I also don’t see Martial leaving this summer.

I've no idea why. Frimpong can't tackle and gets dribbled by a lot. He was so bad vs Munchen that he got subbed at half time.
Similar to TAA, play him against teams that sit deep and you need a creative spark. But I'm afraid in big matches he'd be a liability.

Every year you are talking about selling those getting those. When was the last time you SOLD more than one player? Quick check shows it was 19/20 - Lukaku 75m, Young 1,7m and Darmian 2.5m. Each year you have sold max 1 player. Others have been free transfers or loans.

E: Ahh ****, last summer you sold Pereira for 10m, but did not notice Chong went also for 1.5m. Still point being, you dont really shine in selling department considering you need depth because games you play and wages you offer. Most of you dead weight off is loan moves until they leave for free.

Still mad we gave you one of those 1 sell from Dan, should have never went after him again.

What do you expect with Woodward at the club lol.

This is one of the things I really want to see change under the new structure. Even if we take a hit. An article in the athletic yesterday I think it was. Was saying ETH wants us to start being more ruthless in getting rid of players. But like you say that’s hard when you have had Woodward, Judge handing out contracts like confetti. There is a **** load I want rid of but it won’t all happen this summer I’m sure.

Heaton, Henderson
1 of Dalot or AWB. Preferably Dalot
Maguire, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Jones
Telles, Williams
McTominey, DVB
Elanga
