Liverpool continue to insist Mo Salah is not for sale. But Al-Ittihad are intent on tabling a formal offer. Dealmakers indicate a package of €150m is being prepared with a view to securing Salah a year earlier than first expected so he can play in the 2023 Club World Cup.

As @jamesbenge reports, the breakdown of the fee is €100m guaranteed with the rest in add-ons. Salah would be offered a three-year deal with a base wage of £65m. With bonuses and other earnings considered his total potential earnings would be around £180m per year.

Basically the same money as Antony who is unanimously one of the biggest flops in PL history.

No club should ever talk to them again for that insult.
