Brighton are believed to value Moises Caicedo at around £80m, considerably more than the £58m + £7m add-ons Chelsea are demanding for Mount, but #mufc are prepared to take into account Caicedo’s younger age and radically different contract situation. [@JNorthcroft]
 
There is sympathy at #mufc for Mason Mount. The offer of £55m will be left on the table and there could still be room with Chelsea, if the west London club are willing to enter talks about closing out a deal at that price. [@JNorthcroft]

Yep. Just glad we have decided to move on. We likely will leave communications open for Mount if Chelsea feel more reasonable later on and don’t want to risk losing him for free to us next summer. Can’t see Bohley wanting that looking like the Prem leagues new Woodward. But will see I guess.
 
I wouldn’t be holding out hope on either. Mounts had more than one deal agreed this summer. He’ll be hawking himself all over before January. Chelsea are just a hunch of horrible *****.

At least they’ll go nowhere under the career failure that is Pochetino even with the cheating,

Interesting to see who leaves first. Mount or Pochetino.

#MUFC have made contact with Adrien Rabiot over a potential move.

They unsuccessfully tried to sign the 28yo from Juventus in 2022. He’s available on a free & is viewed as a good option to strengthen midfield. Story on @TheAthleticFC
