Al-Ettifaq still trying for Demarai Gray despite Everton’s resistance. Deal could still be possible for around £7m because Gray is pushing. Al-Ettifaq are also considering Wolves’ Pablo Sarabia as another option. Interest is concrete but there is no agreement yet with Sarabia.

Exclusive: Agreement now in place between Al-Ettifaq and Everton for Demarai Gray. Only paperwork remains. Final fee is almost £8m ($10m). Gray will sign a four-year deal. If all goes to plan Al-Ettifaq will announce Gray tomorrow.

Hellier stated that he's been told "announcement Friday" many many times already from those doing the deal on Jassim's side - that I would assume would be the Bank of America executives. So the expectation from that side has been that it's going to be done for a while. He seemed pretty confident today that it will definitely be done at least by Christmas but potentially in a few weeks.
