Tomkins or Ashley Williams?

currently in my first season with southampton, in november. think i need to bring in another defender as i only have Fonte and Forren. so i want to bring in a british defender with premier league experience, so which of these 2 would you pick. i think there both similiar players but deciding which one to attempt to sign.

im leaning more towards Tomkins as hes only 23 and could be part of the england squad very soon

depends what you want IMO tomkins more an out and out defender but williams more of a ball playing centre half

I will look at Okore, getting Gomez from barca in January put he will be for the future. I play witha ball playing defender and I've got forren doing that duty
