Has anyone else had a problem with their team taking too many long shots? I've tried a few different combinations like making the team work the ball into the box, shorter passing, shoot less, dribble more and they still shoot from long range.

Most of the long shots come from being one on one and they shoot from the edge of the box.

Do you think it could be down to PPM's? But thinking about it most of my team are taking long shots. Bit frustrated with it at the moment.

Make your team instructions more rigid, ask them to shoot less, lower tempo, teach them to pass rather than shoot, but above all else give them options when they're on the ball.

Both teams are shooting from anywhere and everywhere. I believe it's been mentioned in the bugs reporting threads, as have the goalie and defender AI and lack of response to rebounds from the long shots.

In the meantime, work ball into box and player instructions to shoot less should tame things slightly.
