Too many PPMs?

Not sure if this is the right section to post this.

I have this player, Lucas Romero, surely many of you know him.
I want him to play as DLP-defend, he does the job but nothing extraordinary...like average rating 7.05 or sth like that. He is highly rated by my staff and many big European clubs want him.

Why is he underperforming then? I'm starting to think that it's because of all the ppms that he's got. He has:
- Comes deep to get the ball
- Dictates tempo
- Plays one-twos
- Killer balls
- Marks opponent tight
- Tries long range passes
- Likes to switch ball to other flank

Do you think that removing some of those could help?

Looks like a great DLP in my opinion.

- Comes deep to get the ball (Won't be used much since he's already deep-lying on the pitch)
- Dictates tempo (Perfect for a DLP: Make sure he has good creativity!)
- Plays one-twos (Always a plus in my opinion. May not get used often unless someone else in your midfield has this PPM as well)
- Killer balls (Perfect!!!! this coupled with tries long range passes is a great combo)
- Marks opponent tight (Most effective if the opponent is playing an Advanced Playmaker)
- Tries long range passes (Works perfectly with killer balls)
- Likes to switch ball to other flank (If you play wide with aggressive full backs, this will be a great way of exposing the opponent and gaining ground)



He is going to play well regardless but how effectively he plays is largely dependent on the players in front of him. If no one is running into space or stretching the team wide, you're playing your own player out of the game.

Cheers guys. After refusing 30m+ quid from big European clubs he's now my first choice as a DLP in season 2017/18. So far 5 games played and 7.28...looks promising

Which PPMs he have ? Did you remove any PPMs ?
