Finished my second season and done what I considered very well, however there is the problem of the 'big four'. This is Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd I would even say Man City to make this a top five.

Every time I seem to play them I always struggle, I play 2 formations the 4-4-2 Swap formation found on the site and my own 4-5-1. I have gained some good results but I am being dominated in the matches.

I would like to strengthen my back four and also bring in a striker I'm trying for Neymar has anyone got any suggestions for how to beat these teams? or who to bring in?

Much appreciated

On my first season with Tottenham I bought John Arne Riise for around £16m. You have to replace Assou-Ekotto at all costs. Hes a decent back up player but he cant be in your main squad. Edin Dzeko is always a good option for a stiker to partner Defoe/Keane. I bought him in my 2nd season and bought him in Fm10. Spose you could try your luck with David Luiz as well to go at CB.

I finished 3rd in my first season, 4th in my second season and 1st in my third season.

John Arne Riise for 16m?!

Are you broken? :S

Anyways.... Go for Taye Taiwo at left back, should cost around 5m ish, Go for Darren Bent at all costs, he scored 44 goals in a season for me, then 37 in the following should only cost about 15m

I thought about Bent but wouldn't he be to similar to defoe who has been amazing in my first season.

Yeah i thought that but trust me mate, you play them two up front together and all **** breakes loose, they are incredible together.

Hahah he will have to be signed then, need to offload crouch, keane and few others first see what budget I will get. Will all depend on league place and champions league finish.
