Thanks for the insight into the future pal.

Np mate ;) Well...he needs to meet a specialist so it sounds like this could really mean a few weeks rest for Bale. But im just pure guessing...so dont worry.

Unlike some teams, Spurs aren't a one man team. Bale can be replaced by Pienaar or Kranjcar, top-quality players.

Yes he can be replaced but the replacment will be nowhere as good. What is the name of the team that is a "one man team"...i can't figure it out.

Nowhere near? Pienaar is a very, very good player. He's close to Bale's level. Not as good, but close. He's a more than capable replacement.

Who said anything about "the team"? I said "teams". Who, I will leave you to work out.

Unfortunate. You could tell from kick-off that he wasn't right. He pulled up at times, when he never usually does that.

He needed a rest. I guess now he can get one, though not in the way I'd hoped.

I know Pienaar is good, but he is not as pacy and is not a similiar type of player to bale, he brings something different...and if you meant City are a "one man team"...you couldn't be more wrong.

Spurs gonna need him on Feb 15th against Milan. Lucky for Spurs Milan has some injury worries atm

Tottenham injury concerns

See, great as we were in the past, one thing I have affirmed is, You need a depth of talent. Especially if you are going to try chase the Champion's League. You basically need 2 teams worth of players, reserves, etc. And not ones you have to pray yo don't have to use. For the home leg of the Real games, I was booked at the Express by Holiday Inn where I had to walk the tiny distance back after the match, very sad, that in these days of billions of dollars, a good team is no longer enough.
