Bale, Young, Lennon, Huddlestone, Sandro, Douglas Costa, VDV
Hulk, Lopez, Adam Rooney, Garra Dembele, Defoe

Letting Modric go and not strengthing the midfield or defence sounds poor IMO

I won the league 1st season with Spurs with a similar squad to you, this worked for me..
gomes (or in your case neur it would be)
corluka, dawson, king, ekotto,
Huddlestone and vdv at CM
Bale AML, Willian (or for you costa) at AMC, lennon AMR
defoe CF, but hulk is better any day.

get bale and lennon hugging the touchline and crossing into target man...you'll score loads.
go with the 4-2-3-1 formation i have just described above. good luck man
