Overall we had very impressive results considering we heavily rotated and tinkered with tactics. Harry Kane starred bagging 8 across the 5 friendlies.

We made some major sales just days into the window with right-wingers Townsend and Lamela leaving for reasonable sums. Added to our transfer budget with had over £50 million to spend. I missed out on both Yarmolenko and Bellerabi before finally securing the signature of Feghouli to fill the right-wing spot. Max Meyer wasn't a priority but his versatility and potential was too good to turn down for £17.75 million.
